Hoy venimos mi esposa y yo a conocer este lugar gracias a las recomendaciones y calificaciones de otras personas en Google guides. El lugar es bastante grande, tiene también una terraza de muy buen tamaño y muy agradable. La decoración y el ambiente nos encantaron!! quizás lo único que me hizo falta fué un poco de música de fondo. El menú es corto, cosa que SIEMPRE agradezco, y muy atractivo. La entrada de papas que pedimos fué gigantesca. Todo lo que pedimos estuvo muy rico. La chica que nos atendió, Amber, fué super amable y estuvo muy al pendiente de nuestra mesa siempre. El lugar estaba lleno y todo el staff estaba súper ocupado, pero nunca dejaron de dar un extraordinario servicio.
Definitivamente fué una muy, muy buena experiencia y sin duda vendremos nuevamente a seguir probando más cosas del menú!

2 star experience due to the food.

I made the mistake of not reading that the Korean Chicken Bao Buns had lightly fried buns. Frying a Bao bun ruins the whole appeal and makes it no longer light, airy, and delicious. They also skimped on the chicken, so halfway through you’re left with fried bao and pickled veg.

The B&Gs used brown gravy and were lacking. I expected a cream based gravy and an amount that would clog my arteries, but this was not it.

The Scratch Fries were good and a huge portion (an appetizer for 3-4). The problem was biting into a small bone that hurt! Had to be careful as we ate the rest.

Drinks were good and our server was nice. Loved the vibe of the decor and Mason jars. Food came out quick but I had to ask them for cutlery and napkins. Come here for the drinks and fries and you won’t be disappointed!

Such a wide variety of menu options to choose from with a flair to each dish. Great location in downtown Apex and plenty of parking in the back or in the street if you can find a spot. Service is great. They have 4 areas to sit (inside, at the bar, outside in a covered area and uncovered area). I have been here twice now. First time I had the massive chicken sandwich and 2nd time I had the crab Rangoon dip which was amazing and then chicken Philly with fries. It’s was okay and wouldn’t get the Philly again but want to try all of their menu items. Give it a try. I love the trail mix they give out.

After our first visit, we had to come back, and both times, the food was amazing! I recommend trying the smoked pimento cheese wontons and buffalo cauliflower bites for your appetizers. We also tried the smoked cheddar ragoon dip, which was also good. Our main dishes did not disappoint. I first tried the cast iron chicken, which was really well made. I will say, I thoroughly enjoyed my second pick a lot more. The bone in pork chop is a MUST TRY. It was super juicy and seasoned to perfection. My fiance tried the truffle mac & cheese burger, which he and I both LOVED. His second pick, the smokehouse mac & cheese, was everything you'd want out of a good mac & cheese. We've really enjoyed the food here and can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with family out on the patio with our dogs. Service was great! Food was delicious! Tough eating outside with the flies but that’s expected. The pork belly appetizer with brussel sprouts has the best sauce. The cast iron chicken is very filling and enough for two meals. My husband had the BBQ burger which he loved! My cousin had the crispy chicken sandwich (not pictured), which was also very good. Will definitely be back to try their brunch!!

Edit: came back and had the chicken bao buns (such a great fusion of sweetness from the crispy bun and kick from the chicken), and the Philly steak with bacon collared greens. So good!!

The entire building is a renovated stable, there are several other businesses that share the building. It’s gorgeous, tall rafters, romantic lighting, rustic architecture.

I was immediately impressed with the atmosphere, which was beautiful and just felt like a place I could haunt. The music was great, the outdoor patio had air conditioning, the servers were all gorgeous and very accommodating.

The food! I wanted to try soo many plates but I just knew I couldn’t finish them all. It was an extremely hard choice but I settled on the BLT with truffle fries. I have never had candied bacon before and the aioli combination was delicious.

I highly recommend! I’m hoping to go back again soon to try something else.

Holy Mackerel was this good!!! A friend and I had dinner here tonight for the first time and it was nothing short of amazing.

Our drinks were perfect. She wanted sweet so she got the “Honey don’t be sour” made with blueberry moonshine that seriously had rock candy on its swizzle stick. I had a “Smoke and dagger” a mezcal, lime and ginger concoction that was way better than it had to be.

We both wanted to try everything but decided to jump around and order a few things and split them. For an appetizer we had the blues Mac and cheese (not pictured) which had steak, bacon, onions and mushrooms over a rich Mac and cheese.

For an entree she had a cilantro chicken club that was on the specialty menu, made with grilled chicken, and fresh avocado. I had the “crispy chicken sandwich” from the regular menu and we both agreed it was almost perfect. Fried chicken with a spicy maple aioli, pimento cheese and house made pickles…it was every bit as good as it sounds.

For dessert we had a Black Forest cheesecake also one of the specials…and it was so creamy and rich that both of us would eat a bite and just pause a second to savor it.

Our waitress Charlotte was great. The atmosphere was exactly what a taproom should be like. 5 full stars.
