On a drizzly, moonlit evening, my wife and I embarked on a late-night culinary adventure that led us to this charming spot. As we arrived, the restaurant was serene with only a few guests scattered about, allowing us to savor a peaceful ambiance. We opted for the patio seating, where we enjoyed a lovely view—a perfect balance between the bustling road and away from chaos.

Our taste buds were first delighted by a beautifully crafted white rum cocktail. The presentation was impeccable, and each sip was a burst of vibrant flavors. Alongside, we indulged in a bowl of peanut masala. This savory delight was a true treat, offering a satisfying, spicy crunch that tantalized our taste buds and left us feeling wonderfully full.

The generous portion was so fulfilling that we regrettably skipped the main courses. While our experience was delightful, my review remains incomplete without exploring their full menu. I’m already looking forward to a return visit to taste their main offerings and complete my review.

The restaurant offers a spacious setting with a nice patio at the front, making it a great spot for outdoor dining. Parking is convenient, which adds to the ease of the experience.

One of the highlights of my visit was trying the Aaam Sutra, a unique drink that is definitely worth a try—it delivers a distinct taste that stands out. Tandoori Fish was amazing to eat., I like it. As for the food, we ordered Laal Maas. While I’ve had better versions of this dish elsewhere, it’s still a treat to get an authentic taste of it in Canada.

The service, however, could have been a bit faster, and I wish the naan had been a little crispier. Despite these small details, I had an overall enjoyable experience, and the patio setting was a perfect touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another visit to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and good food.

Starters are really worth trying. Gobi 65, tandoori mushrooms, chicken keema masala and bhatti fish...worth the price.
Main course is ok.
Service was great starting from placing order to getting us cheque. But music was loud sometimes otherwise no major issues.
Will definitely visit this place again but will stick to starters only.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant with my friend and we ordered Gobi 65, Butter Chicken and Naan. The Gobi 65 had great combination of flavours, but it was spicier than the Butter Chicken. Overall, their food was delicious and the staff member Jia provided us with great customer service. She was knowledgeable about the menu items and communicated in a professional manner. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. I will definitely visit this restaurant again to try their other menu items.

Ambience was fantastic. We attended the Delhi 6 style event that brought Delhi vibe. They had a good patio as well. Chole Kulcha, Pav bhaji, Aloo tikki and kulfi are awesome. Highly recommended.

Qila Bar in Brampton is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Indian street food! The menu is packed with a variety of flavorful dishes that truly capture the essence of Indian street fare.

But what really sets Qila Bar apart is its amazing patio. The ambiance is perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family, offering a vibrant yet cozy vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our experience was nothing short of fantastic.

If you’re looking for a place that combines delicious Indian street food with a great outdoor setting, Qila Bar is the spot. Highly recommend!

Qila (the castle) - it was our first visit to this restaurant. Though we went around 5 pm (early dinner) it still had a few families and friends out there for food.

Good sized patio and dining hall. With setup of live music which starts after 8 pm and DJ night starting post 10 am. This place had a decent vibe. Dimmed lighting gives you enough privacy while enjoying food and good time with family and friends.

We were hosted by Gungun our server for the night who was very generous on checking up on us often. Along with Manager Sandeep. Very friendly staff apart from the one who was serving us food didn’t take his name, he was bit argumentative with us ( will circle back to this incident) but overall good staff and service rating.

As the timing was around our initial wait time around for appetisers was 25-30 mins where they mixed up dishes we ordered and got served and were asking for additional 25 mins to which we denied and asked for main course directly instead then. The guy who brought food to us started arguing on pointless things that the other dish is spicy and you have to wait and so on unnecessarily rather just swap or let us know the wait time for the mistake/ confusion that might have occurred. And he did that same thing for water too.

Drinking water rather than the tap water prefer to ask for bottled water. As tap water had chlorine in it so avoid.

Food wise

In Appetiser’s we ordered
- Veg steam momos
- 2 portions of Chef Special Teekhe Paneer ke Tinke (spicy paneer tikka)
So they mistakenly they gave us kurkure paneer tikka picture enclosed and was served cold.

Portion size of appetisers is very small 6 momos and 6 paneer pieces for a plate which costs $17.

Momos chutney was not house made rather was ching’s schezwan sauce, green chutney was good was giving good punch (those who don’t eat spicy can handle this chutney well)

For the main course

We ordered
- Dal Makhani
- Karahi Paneer (Spicy)
- Malai Kofta
- Garlic Naan (6)
- Tandoori Roti (2)
- yogurt
- Plain Rice
- Chilly Onion

Overall we were in love with the food apart from a few mistakes made with naan and roti. Roti was too crisp like a flat bread. We asked for naan to be thin and crisp which they missed in the first batch but eventually corrected in the second time around.

Karahi paneer was our top dish of the night tasting very authentic and aroma was amazing. Flavour wise we could enjoy all the spice mix both in the form of whole and in the gravy. Overall a star of the night.

Dal makhani was amazing as well. Well brewed and taste was original. Again the flavour palette was on spot.

Malai kofta, most of the Brampton restaurants miss the mark here but Qila was on spot and it was not sweet but very good tasting, kofte were soft and fresh and gravy was well made.

On inquiring came to know chef had over 25 years of experience and that could be seen in the main course dishes.

Overall our experience was enjoyable and had a good meal certian areas were falling short but we did our feedback to the manager. And ended the evening on a smiling note.

With a slight improvement in service this place could be the King of the Queen Street Restaurant Fiesta.

We got the best service and I bet each item on their menu is outstanding in taste!
Must try their paneer appetizers.
We were here before for Valentine’s Day experience and unfortunately that was one of the bad day for the restaurant! No doubt the restaurant manager was so nice to us! We understand that not all days are same and manager asked us to give another chance to compensate the experience! And I can happily say that we had the best experience this time !
