(From an out of towner), this hidden gem of a weekend brunch spot is outstanding! From the service to the food/atmosphere 100/10. They are only open from Friday to Sunday, and we came twice in one weekend. Didn’t capture photos of the first trip but, providing the second trip! If you try anything.. the pancakes are a MUST! Dishes are all homemade and home style feel. Do not skip this spot when you’re in town!

This secret place is absolutely amazing! Aymee and staff are so friendly and genuine! It’s like being back at mom and dad’s kitchen! So happy we decided to go into this place when it seemed like it wasn’t even open or there! Amazing food (ribs, biscuits and gravy, waffles with vanilla ice cream, French press coffee, mimosa) amazing people, amazing atmosphere. This is our new breakfast place for our trips to Nye Beach!
“Can I get sugar with my coffee?” Aymee said, “Do you want raw, processed, or fake?” ? #realservice #noBS

This place has a great charm to it, food is very good, it's possibly the most unique little breakfast spot I've been to.

If you're in Newport, it's definitely worth stopping and trying. Deducted one star because prices are quite steep for breakfast. A skillet special, a basic waffle with a side of bacon, and that totals $50. A shot glass of orange juice for $7.

Great food, just be aware of what it's going to cost.

Newport is my husband and I's coastal town of choice, so we're around often and have tried most of the restaurants at this point. We found Arr Place last year, and it's been our absolute FAVORITE breakfast spot ever since. The food is beyond incredible, perfectly made every time. The atmosphere is cute and homey, and the couple who run it are just the sweetest. We get so bummed out whenever we're in town and Arr Place isn't open - it's the only place we want for breakfast in Newport anymore!

This place was a great discovery! We hadn't been back to Newport for a few years and didn't have a good idea where to get a good breakfast. This popped up in our feed with high ratings and it was just a few blocks from where we were staying. So we found it, which was a tiny bit challenging but part of the allure. And the food was spectacular. The couple running the place are kind and warm and fantastic Cooks. The people sitting in the place were mostly locals and everybody was having a really nice time. It was great.

Well this was a *very* pleasant surprise, once you find it. Located in the lower level of a sizeable home, there’s no real “sign” outside. There’s a hand-written sign that said “OKAY” that you could see from the street, saying it’s OK to enter.

You walk in and are greeted with bar seating (approximately room for 12) and a lower table that I think could fix 6 in a pinch. That said, it’s not cramped at all. The bar and seating “surround” the kitchen and prep area, where you are waited on by one owner, as the other cooks your meal to order.

Coffee is french pressed to order, and smelled amazing. Everything there is made by them - including the breads - and it shows in the taste, texture, and quality.

I had a special Beef Tenderloin Benedict that I wanted to lick the plate clean it was so good. Perhaps I should have…

We will make it a point to come back here. It was good enough that I may hop on the motorcycle some afternoon from Everett, stay in Newport, just to have that Benedict again. It was that good. My wife’s hash was reportedly delicious as well.

A note on the hours - the owners seem to do this for the love of food and conversation. Don’t be dissuaded by their short operating window, just be motivated to make it. They were as awesome as the food.

Lastly, some early reviews discussed cash only, but they do take credit cards now (4% surcharge).

Everything locally sourced, organic, fresh, from the farmers markets. This place is beyond words, there’s not enough stars. Come here if you appreciate quality and this identifies “made with love”. If you’re looking for quick and easy go do your thing but if you love food, this place is incredible! Mom and pop owned and operated. Sit on the right if you want a free show. We’ve been on the road for a few weeks and eat out a lot, this is by far the best food we’ve had, like ever. Love the hidden gem, it’s not easily noticeable, we walked by and didn’t realize it was a freaking diamond of a breakfast joint, looks like a house.
The seasonal mix was phenomenal. The salmon Benedict made me like fish which I’ve always been grossed out by. The Bloody Mary is PERFECT. The coffee is in French press. These guys are incredible. Thank you for the amazing experience!
I’m terribly sorry for my sailor mouth just before we left when I was explaining how freaking good this was. ?❤️

A dining experience indeed, one plate and you are hooked,
Huevos rancheros was mouth-watering, and they encouraged plate licking! And for good reason...We'll be back. Remember desert first!
