We set out in search of a bait shop, but Google Maps led us astray. Luckily, this delightful spot came into view, and we couldn't be happier about it!From the moment we walked in, the friendly and helpful staff made us feel right at home—a rare treat since COVID.

The atmosphere was serene, with lovely views of the waterways dotted with canoes and kayaks. The spacious seating added to the relaxed vibe.The food was nothing short of amazing. The portions were generous, and the flavors were outstanding. My wife couldn't get enough of the clams in butter sauce, and the ahi tuna was some of the best I've ever tasted.We will definitely be returning!

Though we eventually found the bait shop we were initially searching for, discovering this hidden gem made our day. It's tucked away, likely a well-kept secret among the locals. It's off the beaten path, and we wouldn't have found it during the busy season, but we're so glad we did!Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a great dining experience in a tranquil setting.

We had a great night. You can't beat the setting, right at the marina with water views in all directions. We had the cobb salad with tuna and the fish tacos. Both were excellent.

Easy parking. Food very good. Drinks delicious. Views make this place a must and worth the wait. Three sides have views of the water and marina. On nice days there are outside seating as well all on the water. Make this a must stop. The pei muscles with chorizo and white beans at $16 is a must. They give you enough bread to soak the tomato based sauce. Baja fish tacos light but filling. Dressing comes on the side. Chose the onion rings. Partner chose coleslaw which was light on mayonnaise so crunchy and fresh. Bloody Mary spicy. 7% ipa. Desserts worth holding space for. Total bill three drinks two dinners appetizer. $80.

Located close to Hammonasset State Park, this place has a great location by the sea and also plenty of wind to bask into!

The ambiance of the restaurant is decent enough with most of the seating providing sea views while the service is great with the servers being pretty communicative and attentive to our needs! Special shout out to Ashton over here!

The food can definitely be improved upon! The location though great, the food doesn't live up to the expectations. We had ordered buffalo shrimp and fried calamari as appetizers. The calamari was okayish, while the buffalo shrimp was sour so did all the sauces which accompanied it! Honestly we didn't like any of their sauces. Then for entrees we went for their signature broiled seafood platter which had scallops, some fish(probably cod) with white wine, a couple of shrimps, mashed potatoes and sauteed broccoli with brussel sprouts! I tried scallops for the first time and it felt great to me. They were rightly seared and butter was at the right quantity. The fish though was well made and the shrimps were broiled enough. Mashed potatoes were really awesome and I had a great time devouring them. The Cobb salad was good as all the ingredients were fresh also the vinegarrete added as a good dressing to it!

Lastly, the tap beer was ordered by my friends and they said it's good!

Overall a great place to sit and enjoy by the seaside but definitely needs to work on their food quality!

We have eaten at Rocky’s Aqua a number of times and have always had a great experience. I hardly ever go back to a restaurant and order the same dish twice and every single time I get the seared ahi tuna. The staff is great and the host Sam goes out of his way to make sure everyone has a positive experience. Great spot for a dinner date, getting drinks with friends or just don’t feel like cooking and want a great meal. We look forward to our next visit.

Recently we made arrangements with another couple to visit the shoreline for seafood. We had already decided on restaurant but changed our destination to Rocky's Aqua based on a recommendation of a friend. The weather was beautiful on this fall day. We arrived mid-afternoon so on-site parking was not an issue. No reservations were needed and we were seated right away. The menu was filled with delicious choices. Three ordered scallop dishes and one ordered fish & chips. We didn't have to wait long for our orders as our waitress was definitely very attentive. The meals were fresh & delicious. The atmosphere was excellent and the ocean breeze was gentle and inviting. All of us enjoyed our lunch and we'll be coming back here soon and recommended the restaurant to others.

Great place right on the shoreline with expansive, delightful views out over moored sailboats, waters, and islands. Adding to the atmosphere were attentive young serving staff and great food and drinks. It was truly a delightful experience.
