Came here while visiting a local friend. I was amazed with the ambiance of the place. I asked to be seated near the newer renovated area and was kindly given permission to.

My attendance as during a weekday around 12/1pm and the workers present were limited. Regardless, we were served promptly and were provided clarification when we asked questions.

The food options were limited for the lunch special however the main entrees were all available. When the food arrived at the table we were shocked at the portion size. Having been to many Indian restaurants, this restaurant offers smaller portion sizes.

In addition to smaller portion sizes some the meat dishes were not as tender as other restaurants I’ve been to.

Spice route Indian Cuisine offers customers a nice ambiance and clean environment go enjoy Indian food, but should consider larger portion sizes and more tenderization of the meat ( particularly the lamb ).

Truly impressed with its exceptional wide variety of selection. While the starters were decent, the dumplings were a standout, showcasing the restaurant's skill in crafting flavorful appetizers. However, it was the Chinese dishes that truly must try. The authentic flavors of these dishes were nothing short of remarkable. The service was impeccable, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. If you're seeking a delightful fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisine, Spice Route is definitely worth a visit.

We stopped at Spice Route Indian restaurant on our way back from vacation, eager to enjoy some authentic Indian cuisine. The service we received was exceptional, starting with our server, Daniel. His pleasant demeanor and professionalism immediately set a positive tone for our dining experience.

Initially, we were surprised to see a non-Indian staff member at an Indian restaurant, but Daniel's knowledge and enthusiasm for the cuisine were impressive. We also interacted with Umesh, who we initially mistook for the owner due to his warm and welcoming attitude. His courteous service and positive demeanor were truly outstanding.

The entire staff was attentive and seemed to work cohesively, as if they owned the place. This reflects well on the management, suggesting they treat their employees with respect and care.

As for the food, it was fantastic in both taste and presentation. We dined in for dinner and had leftovers for the next day, which were just as delightful. The total bill for four meals came to a very reasonable $30, making it excellent value for money.

We will definitely be returning, and we highly recommend you try Spice Route Indian restaurant as well.

We ended up here by mistake. Two Indian restaurants with similar names are within 3 miles of each other and our driver navigated to the wrong one. I did like the Asian fried calamari. The tadka dal was good but not great. The water was room temperature and did not taste good. The drums of heaven were bland despite being heavily sauced. The honey and sesame “crispy” chicken was anything but crispy. It was heavily sauced as well but not in a good way. My brother in law (who is from India) got chicken pepper fry and did not enjoy it. If I had to eat here again, the calamari and the tadka dal is what I’d order. My nephew really wanted Ghee rice, but they didn’t have it. Perhaps they make other things better, but I won’t be risking it. We were so disappointed that we left here and went to the other place and ordered everything again.

We came at 5 pm, but some of our food came at 6 pm and it was a mix of entree and apps. By the time the rest of our entrees came, the entree served earlier was cold. We got chicken and lamb vindaloo and it was inedibly salty. Our waters were not refilled. Disappointed after seeing the high reviews. Will not return.

Idiom "Great Cry Little Wool" suits this restaurant very well. Stay away from this place if you are a vegeterian. I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately my experience was a huge disappointment. First off, the wait times for dine-in customers were crazy - we waited over 30 minutes just to get our appetizers!

The dumplings we ordered were also a joke - barely any filling at all. And the portion sizes were pretty skimpy given how much we paid.

And when the main dishes finally arrived, the food itself was a real letdown. Everything tasted so bland and one-note. It was like they were using the same boring gravy for multiple dishes, including the manchurian and the cheese chilli. And the gravy itself was way too salty and had this weird sour taste. Not good at all.

I won't be going back, and I definitely can't recommend this place to anyone else. There are so many better Indian restaurants out there.

This was one of the worst experiences. I went for lunch and ordered chicken biryani without looking at the menu, as I knew what I wanted to eat. While I don’t expect fresh food at restaurants, this was the worst I’ve ever had. It seemed the food was prepared at least a day or more in advance and microwaved before serving. The rice and entire dish were soaked in oil. I didn’t complain but decided to leave since I was in the middle of a trip and wanted a peaceful place to eat. Initially, they gave me a small cup of raita. When I was about to finish my meal, I asked for a little more raita and was shocked to be charged $5 for it. This is a terrible way to extract money from customers. Both the manager and the waiter were rude and didn’t take the time to explain the $5 charge for the raita but upon waiting was told it’s on the menu. While I don’t mind paying, the price should be reasonable. I will never return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone.

Update: The rude reply shows how you value comments. See the picture: microwaved food soaked in oil, and no respect from the manager when I requested to talk. Nowhere have I seen a restaurant serving a big bowl of raita when asked for more and charging 30-35% of the biryani cost of $16-$18. I am not looking for free, but for a reasonable price at least. Serve good food and understand what you are doing to customers. When you say “you liked raita and decided to order more” says a lot since no where they add it as a separate dish to biriyani, it was always a side dish added for biryani along with a gravy which you didn’t even have. Moreover, this place is not an authentic Indian restaurant.

This was my second time here, and since the first time I’ve loved it since. My boyfriend and his family come here often and we all went together my second time! Food is impeccable and the options and variety they have are great. I personally love ordering the chili garlic noodles and chili paneer. Their paneer makhani is amazing! Their paneer melts in your mouth. And oof their garlic naan - so soft and buttery. Highly recommend to come here! Oh and you must end your meal with mango lassi, probably the best one I’ve had in a really long time! If you are a large party, make sure to call to make sure they have a table available for you. We called for 7 people and they told us to just walk in.
